Give the Retiree a Celebration Worth Remembering
A retirement party should feel like more than another office gathering. After years of work, meetings, deadlines, and shared experiences, the retiree deserves a sendoff built around conversation, laughter, and time with the people who helped shape their career.
At 9Yards Golf Course Simulators of Pittsburgh, PA, we host retirement celebrations with private room access, Golfzon TwoVision simulators, extra lounge seating, TVs, food, drinks, and customizable event options. Colleagues near Ross Township will have room to celebrate the retiree without relying on a traditional banquet hall or outdoor venue.
Bring Coworkers Together Through Virtual Golf
Retirement parties often include coworkers, managers, longtime clients, friends, and family members with diverse interests and varying levels of golf experience. Virtual golf gives the group a shared activity without requiring everyone to play seriously.
Our simulators support full 18-hole virtual courses, beginner-friendly modes, arcade-style games, target challenges, and contests such as long drive or closest-to-the-pin. Experienced golfers will enjoy realistic play and swing feedback, while first-timers can join lighter games without pressure.
This flexibility keeps more guests involved instead of dividing the room between golfers and spectators.
Create a Tournament in the Retiree’s Honor
A custom tournament gives colleagues an easy way to personalize the party. Teams may compete in a scramble, stroke play, skins, Stableford, or another Golfzon format. A leaderboard will add energy throughout the event, especially when departments or longtime coworkers compete against one another.
The competition does not need to be serious. A small prize, company trophy, or bragging rights will do the job. The retiree may even get the final say on the course or tournament format.
Add Personal Touches Around the Golf
Golf should support the celebration, not overshadow it. Retirement events may include display tables for awards, career photos, and memorabilia, as well as video presentations, speeches, or a toast. Decorations, banners, and other personalized displays are also welcome.
These details help colleagues look back on shared milestones while giving the retiree a meaningful sendoff.
Private rooms and lounge seating also give guests space to step away from the simulators, talk, eat, and enjoy the event at their own pace.
Keep Food, Drinks, and Entertainment Together
Moving coworkers between an activity and a restaurant creates extra scheduling and transportation headaches. Our retirement party setup supports food and drink service, catering, flexible room layouts, and dedicated simulator bays.
The current catering menu includes group-friendly options such as pasta, meatballs, pizza, chicken, pretzel bites, dips, sides, and soft drinks. Catering orders require 48-hour notice, so planning helps everything run smoothly.
Book Around Your Group Size
Retirement celebrations may be small department gatherings or larger events involving multiple teams and family members. We accommodate groups of various sizes and will help tailor the setup around the expected headcount, food selections, contests, and preferred schedule.
For colleagues near Ross Township, PA, a golf simulator retirement party combines activity, recognition, food, and relaxed conversation under one roof.
Contact us with the date, guest count, and ideas for honoring the retiree, and we will help create a celebration built around the career, the people, and the next chapter.
